Ivaleo That's mean the overheat protection. Too high voltage for that device. Or use any transformer 220 to 110, but it would be heavy enough, or use the traveller adapter 220 to 110V. There is a symmetric cutting of a half of each pulse of sine wave. Any powerful dimmer with 1 kW load also might work
