Bought 25 of these as they were very good value, with 92% reduction in price. I can see why - only 2 work! All others short out their input supply. After investigation, the usb input socket has been soldered too far down the pcb, so the metal shielding of the usb socket touches the +ve and -ve pcb tabs, shorting them out. If you don't need the socket, just remove it, and provide power straight onto the contacts. If you do need the usb socket, it's best to replace with a new socket ( being careful with placement on the pcb), as it's very difficult to remove without damaging it or the pcb. I've given it two stars, as its possible to fix relatively easily, but you would expect the pcb's to be tested before leaving the factory. I consider this very shoddy manufacturing.

BRILLO Itdoes, but you need to search the internet for the correct linux drivers. I can't remember exactly where I got them from, but they are there. However, the unit runs EXTREMELY HOT ( hot enough to melt the plastic casing ), and for that reason, I would recommend finding something else. I did.

Replaced a broken unit on a Husqvarna LT100 ride-on mower. Although the physical layout was the same as the original, the contacts were slightly different. The contacts are well marked on the unit, and it was an easy job to re-configure the cabling by swapping the contacts around in the connecting plug. It only took 10 minutes to change over, and I have a fully functioning lawnmower again. Much, much cheaper than the manufacturers part from an approved supplier, and just as good.

An extremely well built and robust wi-fi antenna. I have a small office at the end of the garden which was out of range of the wi-fi situated in the house. Adding this to the office PC means the signal romps in without having to add range extenders to the house wi-fi. It ensures maximum range without increasing transmission signal strength. The best solution where the signal comes in from only one direction, and good value too!

Whilst I can't complain for the price, the unit struggles with loading data, and often needs to be checked for 'consistency', hence the 3-star rating for quality. I won't trust it for sensitive data or data that must not be lost. In that case, spend the money and get a certified unit from a reliable manufacturer.

I have a small car that is often ignored in traffic, and the horn is sometimes needed to warn other traffic of my presence. However, small cars have 'meep-meep' horns that are barely audible over the sound of the engine, so I bought this as a replacement. OMG it's loud! It's surprised a few drivers thinking they have cut-up a truck! Its only been installed for a few weeks now, so not sure about its long-term durability, but its doing the job I wanted it for very well indeed. ( I left the old horn installed with a hidden switch-over relay so I can revert to the old one when the MOT is due, just in case).
