My version had the camera glued in the housing, so no more camera shake problem. It also flies really well, as good as the old Lizard. You just need to remember to click the tiny button on the DVR board everytime before you unplug the battery. Otherwise the video file will be corrupted.

The type of narrow battrery strap is quite hard to find. They are very useful for micro drones with 20x20 stacks, where a 20mm wide battery strap simply wont fit.

Fly very well. The optical flow stablization is totally a game changer for these type of selfie drone. The included transmitter is also much better than those toy grade one. Feels good in hands and the sticks has next to none dead zone.

Jianing Waoh all those conversations from people who only look at images on the screen. Actually, after the actual thing arrived, I found these two are VERY DIFFERENT frames. Arms and bottom plate are totally different. The only part that may look similar is the top piece, but then details/dimension of that are still different. Especially the front design, it definitely recalls the old Wizard more than a Floss.

The grand architecture of this model is near perfect. Narrow arm with 4 seperate BLHeli32 ESC is a dream combination for me. Dampened IMU gives much potential in aggressive tuning. The updated DVR also works very well, absolutely no extra latency at all. It records in H.264 format and can save file safely even when battery is unplugged carelessly. Down to the detail there are still something can be improved. Here is the mod I did: 1. I installed a 1000uF Low ESR capacitor to protect the eletronics from those powerful motor and ESC. 2. Put some 4mm spacer for the middle 2 screws to support the FC board. Otherwise if the 2 middle screws are overtightened, the FC can get stressed and become bent. 3. Out of the box, the heat shrink for the receiver antenna did not cover the top bit despite being so long. That bit is the actual antenna and need the most protect!

D: That chip on the board has sanded surface so it cannot be identified. I am very curious about which chip is it because this board in some aspect works even better than Runcam split mini (apart from having a lower resolution).

This is the only vtx with a ipex connector that easy to secure. Just using a zip tie to go around that stand-out bit, so the two parts of the ipex connector are tied tightly together. Can also first use a short section of heat shrink to give a bit more grip. It also takes 5 volt input, which is usually less noisy than vbat.

Very powerful, they can totally handle 3045 props. however the tall nut design has one downside: in crash, the chance of the nut-shaft-bell getting hit and bent becomes higher.

Being quite heavy among it's class, this one is quite good at doing freestyle. These motors + props are very good, quiet and has a good linear response. Factory setting for PID is also very ready. However, the battery life is one of the shortest among it's class. On a 550mah 3s GNB battery, it can stay in air for about 3:30, in which only 2:30 available for doing freestyle flight. Many good micro brushless have these numbers on 5:30/4:30 respectly. And the durability is not as good as I expected, an arm was bent in a crash from 2.5m above ground to cement floor.

Does not hold well in crash but the performance gain due to the lightness and simplicity of this frame is simply addictive. The orange one also fit those walkera prop set very well :D
