Jaws are too thick to crimp Dupont-style connectors; it ends up mangling the female part of the connector. Otherwise, very well built - I actually like the tools themselves, but since I bought these specifically for crimping Dupont connectors, they don't do what I bought them for. I'll have to find a thinner set of jaws that will fit my Dupont pins correctly.

D: Can I use these for Dupont?

whitelynx If you line the attachment piece up to the edge of the die, it will crush the other end of a female dupont connector, making it unusable.

D: Will this crimp JST XH? Will this crimp 2.54mm Dupont?

whitelynx It mangled my female 2.54mm Dupont connectors - the jaws are too thick. I would imagine it would have the same problem with JST XH connectors. The problem is only the included jaws, though - if you can find a thinner set of jaws for 28-24 awg, that should work great.
