Geoff You don't actually need a special tool, which, in any case is only a 13mm spanner. After removing the sensor from the tyre valve, simply remove the locking washer (which isn't held in by anything - so a fingernail is the only tool you need) unscrew the top which is only finger tight but in desperation a pair of pliers used carefully will be OK. Then remove and replace the CR1632 lithium battery and reassemble.

Geoff In general, the fewer blades the better, as the disturbance from one blade affects the one following. Speed control line aircraft sometimes use single blades (with a balance weight). Multiple blades are usually used because of ground clearance issues on full-size aircraft. Multiple blades on a model can be a problem with a nose over on landing because there's always a blade ready to hit the ground and break.

Geoff Why? There's nowhere it could be displayed as the receiver only has 4 channels - one for each tyre. I only use 2 of the sensors on mine because I bought it to monitor the tyre pressures of our caravan. The car we use has a tyre pressure monitor built in.

Geoff I use my Frsky Horus X10 with Jumper multiprotocol module to fly my T28. It uses the V761 protocol and binds easily. The channels are : CH1 = Rudder; Ch2 = elevator; Ch3 = throttle; Ch4 = ailerons; Ch5 = 3 position switch for the 3 levels of gyro help. It flies very well even in a wind though the expert mode (no gyro help) is very tricky and I usually use the middle option. In order to keep it close enough in to see properly it needs a lot of rudder in the turns.

Geoff You may have difficulty seeing and orientating that far away. It's very small but then my eyes are 81 years old :)

D: Is there low voltage protection/cutoff on the flight control board?

Geoff I've no idea. I never take any of my electrically powered models anywhere near the point where a voltage protection cut-off might be needed. However, I've flown my T28 for 10 minutes with no noticeable reduction in power and that's enough for me. Someone told me that our model club chairman had flown his similar Mustang for 20 minutes with no problem but that's just hearsay.

Geoff I've set mine up on my Horus with a Jumper multi-protocol module on V761.Ch1 - Rudder. Ch2 - Elevator. Ch3 - Throttle. Ch4 - Aileron. Ch 5 3position switch for help level. I'm mode 2 but it shouldn't be a problem for mode 1 flyers.Not yet flown (only got it today) but it should be OK! EDIT: Now had about 10 flights in 10/12 knot wind and it's great fun. Easy to hand launch but also takes off easily from a hard surface. Lots of fun.

Geoff Agreed. You can't magic power from nowhere. 5kw at the output means at least 5kw input (there will be internal losses - probably a lot and the inverter will gget hot) so over 400 amps drawn from the 12 source. The cables will not be thick enough if 5kw is consumed by the load for more than a few milliseconds.
