Quite good light, more powerful than the regular XML2 S2+. The tint of mine is quite green, especially on lower levels. Changed the reflector to a TIR, which helped somewhat. The four modes seem pretty well spaced, although I probably would've preferred the 12-groups driver.

DrLimu The FM-2027 seem to be using T12 (aka T15) tips, so they should be compatible.

DrLimu It's NarsilM. The flashing pins are easy to access, so it's relatively easy to flash Anduril, although it needs to be patched to suit this flashlight (you can probably find a precompiled version on Google)

DrLimu Whatthe others said check that the plastic tube that goes into the soap container isn't blocked by dried soap and that it hasn't come loose.

Nice little flashlight. Runs on both regular AA (1.2V/1.5V) and 3.7V Li-ion. With a regular NiMH AA battery it's a good flashlight for a kid, it doesn't get very hot and the light output is decent but not too annoying getting (repeatably) in your eyes. With a li-ion battery it gets pretty hot on turbo and quite bright, the stated 800 lumens is probably correct. I really like the LH351D emitter in this light, the tint is white and not green at all, although that may be down to luck, the tint my Wurkkos FC11 with the same emitter is a bit green. The build quality of the light is quite good, although the anodization doesn't look quite as good as on Convoy S2+

Not much to say, it's three PCB's and some components, useful for practicing SMD soldering. Separate bags for each kit. The manual is in Chinese, but since the part values are in regular letters/numbers that won't be much of a problem, if you need instructions on soldering just look at YouTube.

I got this as a free gift, only had to pay for shipping. The box included flashlight, lanyard, a battery, an adapter to use three regular AAA batteries and a charger (not EU type). There wasn't any car charger, but this doesn't matter to me since I don't trust the charging circuit in cheap flashlights anyway. The battery is a cheap Ultrafire which I don't trust either, it's going straight to recycling together with the charger. Overall the build quality is less than stellar, the flashlight is very light and has a cheap feel to it, with some parts made of plastic. To use the zoom you turn a dial, around two full turns (720 degrees) from fully zoomed out to fully zoomed in.The light output isn't very impressive (although probably not too far from the stated 300 lumens), and the tint of the light is bluish, as common in really cheap flashlights. I would not recommend this light, there are much better options in this price range. At least it's quite easy to take apart, but I don't think it's worth spending any time modding this light.

DrLimu I soldered a 150K SMD resistor across the capacitor (search for astrolux a01 pencil mod to see whch), and now it starts at low after being turned of around 12 seconds. Much better.

DrLimu Definitely less than the stated 1800 lumens. I would guess 500-600 by comparing to other flashlight.

Quite expensive, other places sells a pack of five different angles for the price of one here. Fits my Convoy S2+ SST40 with glass removed but is a bit tricky to center perfectly. The tint of my light looks a bit less green, which is a plus. Against a white wall the beam doesn't look perfectly uniform (which may be down to poor centering), but in real world use it doesn't bother me that much.

Not much to say, useful if you like to change a smooth reflector to an orange peel one in a Convoy S2+.
