The image is sharp, and comparable to a $40 cam. It is lighter than most the same size and the body is long enough that the upper plate isn't in the frame on a qav 220. The built in OSD is a nice feature, has the right adjustable's and the spring set is better than a set screw because it doesn't damage the lens body. It is hungry though, this one measuring 180 Mah @ 12v. The only problem? The image is either mostly red or mostly white, no other colors as seen in my pics. It is obviously defective. Switching to black and white helps, but since this isn't the 1970's that wont work for me and there is no way I am going to fly with it like this. To bad, because otherwise the image is impressive and I was really looking forward to using it.

Been wanting to test this thing for a while. Unfortunately, mine arrived with a defective ESC. The #2 (RF) motor wont spool up and forces the ESC to keep resetting a few seconds after arming. I never had a chance to fly it. I flashed the FC with BF 3.2.0 and the ESC with BL_Heli 16.7 Multi but still nothing. To bad because this thing is so kewl looking with all the right gear for its size, I was looking forward to comparing to my 5 inch machines. I heard good things about it, but also several accounts of failed ESC issues. I ordered the FlySky version. Everything else seems to work and it came with everything advertised. Set up was easy, bind to TX and check all the screws and connections. I did contact customer support. As soon as a resolution is reached and I fly it, I'll review it again. Bought as a replacement for a 2205 motor but the inner diameter is wrong. They measured 3.175mm instead of the 3.0mm advertised. A problem because my quad is all apart and I won't put it back together with the old bearings. To bad, i had a race this weekend.

I'm using these as a replacement for a i6x receiver, they fit fine. No noticeable difference on rssi. slightly short but if weight is important and you like to keep it short they do the job just fine.

The range isn't really any better, but all the dead spots I had found with the AOMWAY's I was using before are gone. But, they are heavier so you will have to adjust the weight balance, I did it by pulling the battery further forward. The stem is very stiff, I like that. The cap is made of thick plastic and I bet it can take a beating. These are the best sub - $25 5.8's I've tested yet and if they hold up to my abuse, all my crafts will get a set.

The OSD doesn't flicker! First one that doesn't, yet. It flies tight but the PID's had to be higher than usual, 75 P and 72 I for pitch. That on a 220 qav only 501 grams. Still though, flies good. I like the connector for esc leads, makes it easy to pull it if u have 2. Clever as all the leads that need to stay on the craft are on the connector, add a JST for the receiver and video in/out and easy out. Came with Betaflight 3.2.1 running 4k gyro and acc loops. This one measured out at 7.2 g. If u solder leads right to the board no pin headers its 4-5 grams lighter than most F3 boards.

A replacement, this one is not much better. The first one had a white line across the screen and eventually just gave up. The support team at first offered me a $5 refund because "it still works", i wished i could e-slap them. Finally they send me this one and i wish I had taken the $5 bucks. The game play is so slow and choppy you have to make moves way in advance or die, even 4 bit games like Mario. A 1980's pc is faster. Even that wouldn't be so bad if not for the fact that most of the games are in Chinese. Half the time the games have no sound. A software issue no doubt as I made sure the sound files where open. There are better ones here for the money, even better versions of this one elsewhere. Looks cool though...
