awesome torch. gets warm but not hot enough to cause damage to led or make it uncomfortable to hold. careful to not put it down when running, as the light output can burn things from this torch.

Arrived with red positive wire disconnected . Re soldered and hot glued.. Really needs better terminal protective wrapping. Pretty much nothing except a nylon sticky wrap. Which really doesn't offer much protection. I suggest you buy kapton tape, and some really high quality electrical tape. Better safe than dead, internally these power supplies store a lot of charge NO JOKE. Finally I wrapped it in car vinyl wrap as the outside casing is earthed. Not saying these are not worth buying . Just be prepared to make it safer to use as a power supply for lipo battery charging. Below are some pictures of the final result. Thankyou

nullvoxel both. Move the switch from "L" (loop recording) to "M" (Motion recording) to change between modes.

Seems to work well. time will tell if it balances the batteries.

everything works as described. I would say it can do more then it's rated thickness as it was welding very well at it's rated thickness at power level 3. The USB-C versions charge port is a bit finicky.

nullvoxel itdoes have an auto-detect mode. You enable it by first turning on the device and then single pressing the button.

tested quickly on an AA battery, it worked. in reality the device send the current every 1.5 seconds with a beep, so it does not detect if you have contact or not (i have the mini usb version). but for the price it's cool. only 2 drawbacks are on the solder pins: it seems they are not removable and they are not isolated on a long distance, the distance where you hold it with your fingers... i'm not sure what happens if your fingers are wet... i isolate them with some thermalshrink tubes for safety.

Resistors work as expected. The value of them doesn't change when jolted so i would say the mechanical side of them is good. The screw has a nice firmness to it but not too firm.

powerful little torch. does get warm in the hand but not warm enough to cause damage to led or be uncomfortable. be careful of light output as it can burn things on maximum setting, so make sure to turn it off before you put it away or in pockets.

Fan is a bit loud Quality of plastic is okay for what it is. Don't expect anything super durable. Apart from that, no complaints. Does what it says on the tin.
