I got the car as shown in the pictures with the star on the hood. Car looks good an is well detailed. The radio is proportional, but has only 64 steps in steering. Since this is not a race car iit is sufficient. Esc has a soft start. The gear is very fast, but and has weak power. I installed the 2-speed-gear and, because the original radio is only 2 channel, locked it to 1. gear. The original electronics, receiver with integrated esc, is capable of driving the motor of the 2-speed-gear and also to handle a 7,4 volts 2S-LiPo. Now there is plenty of torque. The plastic-drivetrain didn't snap, but I upgraded to metal drivetrain for safety, Next step is upgrade to metal axles, full size RC-Set and 3-wire-steering servo.

Sieht von Aussen gut aus, drehte aber nicht. Das Innenleben ist anders als in den Youtube-Videos, dort ist meist eine Schieberad-Schaltung zu sehen. Hier ist aber eine Klauenschaltung realisiert, also eigentlich was deutlich besseres. Die Schaltgabel hatte einen Grat und blockierte damit den Abtrieb komplett. War mit etwas Feilen zu beheben. DIe Spreizung zwischen den Gängen ist Extrem: langsam ist ein Kriechgang mit sehr viel Kraft (Achtung: Kardanwellen und Achsen aus Metall verwenden). Schnell ist für die deutsche Autobahn im Flachland - mit wenig Kraft. Der montierte Motor war unbrauchbar: Leerlauf-Strom (nur Motor, ohne das Getriebe dran) bei 6 Volt über 1,4 Ampere. Und wurde dabei schon heiß zum Finger verbrennen. Ich habe ihn durch einen zufällig passenden aus der Bastelkiste ersetzt. Das Getriebe läuft für gerade Metallzahnräder überraschend leise, nicht kreischend, sondern mit einem Turbinenhaften summen. Hoffentlich bleibt das so. Alle Wellen sind Kugelgelagert. Sinn macht das aber nur bei den beiden Abtriebswellen, denn die anderen beiden sind nur Träger für frei drehende Zahnräder, und die laufen dann Stahl auf Stahl. Also unbedingt zerlegen und die Wellen gut fetten. Ölfüllung geht leider nicht da die Lager nicht dicht sind, es läuft aus. Fazit: Off the Box unbrauchbar, als Grundlage für umbauten aber gut.

Besser als die Plastik-Aufhängung, vor allem etwas weicher.
