I have used my RadioMaster TX16S for more than 3 months now and it is my preferred radio of choice. I like that it has a built in charger and I put in some old 18650 LiIon cells that I salvaged from laptop batteries - A nice surprise is that I got an increased range on my FlySky receivers with this radio compared to the FlySky FS-i6 radio. - Size. It is large when put in a bag but don't fool yourself. Compared to my Taranis QX7 the gimbals are closer and the radio is actually narrower! That was what I looked for since I did not really like the width of the QX7 The only minor thing I was missing is a neck strap. Feels wrong to have my FrSky neck strap on my RadioMaster

To windy for good flight tests. Have done some in windy conditions but should not really do it. Launching. A 2S 1300 LiPo is way easier to launch the plane with than 2x18650 cells. With some practise it works fine. I put a Zohd KoPilot with gps and VX-400 in it. The gps is to thick so I had to remove some of the plastic around the gps to make it fit. It is to little space/height for the KoPilot fc. I had to go without double adhesive tape to save space and used for screws instead. Still to little space for the servo cables. I works, but barely.

Works fine both with pwm output and when using a fc with dedicated buzzer pin.

Came with no instructions at all. However how it works can be found in other reviews. First attempt was not good so I need to use shorter cables I think. (The amp draw was to low when tested meaning some connection I have is not good enough)

Flight characteristics. Satisfied. Flies nice. have only done about 15 flights but like it so far. I ordered with the R-XSR receiver and I could reach the bind button without any tools I like how it looks. Top plate is just that. A top plate. You can remove it for easy access to the stack below. It came with Betaflight 4.2.0 and custom pids. VTX. Not good at all. I ordered another VTX yesterday and hope it will help. If I had known this I would have ordered a VTX when I orderd the Nazgul. I don't have high demands on picture but when it is worse than my 5 inch Eachine Wizard X220 and my 2 inch Geprc then it sucks. I don't have experience enough to describe which type of interference it is.

NIce props. They fold nicely when put in a bag or when I hit trees. You change them when they get worn and used. Not because they brake as other props do.

Lasse They are labeled NiMH which also matches 1.5 Volt (expect 1. volt when fully charged)

D: Receiver question. Can I use an sbus receiver such as Frsky r-xsr or r9 mini to the flight controller or do I need a receiver with direct output to the servos? The link to the manual does not work so I can not check this myself.

Really good quality for the money. I have done about 40 flights now and also done several crashes flying in acro mode. Did one failsafe from above 10 meter heights without breaking anything. Good is that there are a lot of videos how to do thing but minus is that you have to go through several of them also The battery that comes with the X220 is actually quite good. FAR better than the ZOP Power 1800 also purchased. I would say that the stock battery is somewhere between the ZOP Power 1800 battery and a Gens Ace Tattu 1550. I have not updated firmware in the transmitter, receiver and the esc which makes this radio and quad much better. Minus. The transmitter is not set-up according to manual. Three position switch is not activated. Minus. The camera is okay at cloudy weather but useless in sunshine since it can not handle the change between sunshine and shadow good. I have replaced the camera now and I will keep flying the X220 as it is.

I think it is good quality props for beginner. They are soft and bends at crashes and you can bend them back. However this is my first 5 inch quad and I have not tested anything else.

Good delivery. Ordered with Priority Air Mail with a total delivery time of 16 days where the local post delivery time was 2 days. First, this is my first fpv googles so I do not have anything to compare them with. The quality and package is what I expected. I comes with a charger and has good sturdy connectors between charger and batteri. - Have tested them about 20 minutes flying and they work as I expected. (Tested together with Eachine WX220) - I have not yet tested the DVR Recording. - Myopia. I have -3.5 and -4,75 which is outside of the range they should work with. Almost okay though. - I did a small modification which moved the fresnel lens 5 m.m. closer to my eyes and now I feel that with my eyes I can not do better than I have. Modification. The fresnel lens sits in two slots and can be moved. I glued two small pieces so I have one more slot to put the fresnel lens in. This makes it possible to move the lens back to original position if I wish. Did not cut anything. I am happy and can recommend them.
