Aestheticly this truck looks great. Wide body Baja style truck. Stickers included are nice but a little cheesy. Performance: - It's very tippy on grippy surfaces. Basically 100% guarantee flip when turning at full throttle on anything other then loose gravel and smooth concrete. - Suspension is not oil filled and bouncy. But looks great when in motion. Just as Baja truck in real life. - Included Battery is USELESS. Mine was defective. Do yourself a favor and order a bigger better lipo at same time. I ordered a DLG 2s 30c 2650mah lipo and its day and night difference from included battery. However the extra power from battery can be detrimental on very grippy surfaces. Picture included shows the damage. Overall satisfied with this RC truck. 4 stars because of defective small battery. However it's a ton of fun, and upgradable. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased this truck for my 4 year old and it's great for kids. There are 2 issues that I noticed right away. First the battery is a joke. why do they supply a 900mah battery? It doesn't last longer then 10min. In picture you can see I purchased a 2s 1500 mah. There is an immediate power difference. However it doesn't fit so I have to tape it in place. I also converted it to a deans plug. The second thing I noticed is the wheels become loose and pop off. they are just held on by a little screw. So I had to put lock nut glue on all of them. Time will tell if it will survive my 4 year Olds brutal treatment but in the mean time it's plenty fast enough and it's a good little basher.

D: Are these rear shocks shorter the stock fyo8 rear shocks? Is the spring softer or stiffer? are they oil filled?

georgefranco They fit the 12428 well and made a big improvement. I can't remember if they came with oil. I may have had to use my own oil.

Bought 3 of these as Christmas gifts tried one for a bit was fun for the price. It seems as though the response going full throttle reverse to forward was delayed. not sure if it's designed that way or if the electronics are just cheap.
