Bob Fryer The chip being used is the CH340 and is reported by Windows 10 as that chipset. My cable was provided in the last month (just in case there are several models being sold). In my case it was not a prolific chipset - I know the prolific's quite well. Getting the driver to load was the usual pain, I think I ended up finding a CH340 Driver to load for Windows 10) However once loaded worked perfect with my Baofeng UV5R using the standard CHIRP - completed my changes in 15 minutes - all done

Bob Fryer Now I can comment.....Whilst on the whole the major parts are there, the following items are not there1) Dupont Wires not included - This was expected from other reviews2) Real Instructions which are complete - again wasn't expecting much - but no information connecting bridge / uno / etc3) Missing what should be a top plate to hold Electronics (Uno / etc) out of the way - no issue - can make my ownNow based on the price, I am happy with what I got, which was basically most of the major components which I cannot get close by.Same with the Electronics, I have been doing this long enough, so know what needs to connect to what - no issue.However this kit should be calledShortform Kit or Developers KitOr something similar....I can see these kits being bought for a kid just getting an interest, and losing interest quite quickly as it cannot even be completely assembled.Anyhow as mentioned, it does go together, like an Ikea product, a little bit of Nous is needed.
Bob Fryer Have now used...ok a little understanding of Windows Device drivers is needed (and you need to be aware that it is the CH340 chipset being used (was on mine), however once resolved - works great...have already programmed my Baofeng radio and was listening to the traffic on the repeaters this morning. Nice basic product that should work on other radios as well.

Bob Fryer No it does not (not this version anyhow).It comes with the disk with the slots for each wheel, but no sensor.No it does not come with bluetooth.It's a base kit, and very easy to add the other parts - part of the enjoymentHave not seen it available in the configuration you mentioned.RegardsBob
