Nice spot welding board (so far). • I initially tried wheelchair battery and barely got a spotweld with 10Ah on number 8 level.** Not enough perage ** •• I moved up to a Deep Cycle 690MCA with 101 Amp Hours and it worked nicely at the number "2" power/level. This battery was a definitelty overkil and I could have easily used a 40Ah battery A little overkl but ut was what I had available. Im going to solder any/all connections that havent already been soldered and it should help immensely. Thanks BG !

Surprising quality. For the sake of item cost vs item quality or output you cannot go wrong here. The item machining is very respectable and the only thing I would add is the metal clicky button with regard to the housing. The throw to flood ratio is quite nice and respectable. The host body diameter sits nicely in my hands, isnt too heavy It seems to me that Convoy is no longer just the cheapo torch manufacturer you use to try your upgrades out with and give to the uneducated as gifts. This is my second S43S. The first one got here and the usb charge port was loose inside the flashlight body. This has a tiny piece of plastic rattling around or near the Carclo Lens area., or so I thought. Upon removal of the lens I could see a LED Dome rolling around so I turned it upside down and it fell out into my hand. And yes, the yellow on ths dome in the picture is from the LED. While not happy I shall consider my.options.

I have three of these guys and are great for bulk charging. If it has a downside it must be the charge rate when 3 or more batteries are being charged at once. With just a .5 amp rate for the third and fourth battery you may want something different it constrained by l time.
