fredskidoo Did you receive the EU 230v only version? If so, how did you hook the 3-wire power to US 220v?

Pictures are what comes in the package. So far, everything looks to be correct. However, my system came with the EU style plug. It does require 220v, I just need to figure out if I need an adapter or not. I'm really hoping the CT312 performs as described because I plan on using this a lot in my little repair shop. System is heavy and well constructed, includes all the parts (shown in photos). Am looking forward to firing this thing up later today.

D: En Canada hay 220v pero 110+110 o sea bifásico. no 220v monofásico. Mi pregunta es... puedo utilizar 110v como fase y los otro 110v como neutro por así decirlo o necesito comprar un Steep up/down transformer?

So far this little item has been great. doesn't come with batteries, feels cheap and light in the hand, probably wouldn't withstand being stepped on and doesn't take body temperature correctly at all BUT for $20 it is a great deal with unlimited uses. Pick one up to have when something calls for it. You'll be surprised how many different things you never thought of to use it on.

Ah . . . . yeah, we know what this used for. Be aware that the bottom of the bong is thin glass and can break when setting it down onto an uneven, hard surface. So with that in mind I wrapped my second bong's base in clear packing tape. Of course the stem situation leaves something to be desired but, once loaded properly, functions quite well - quite well indeed.

D: Hello, I live in USA and I had to cut my plug so I can rewire to 3 prong plug. There are 3 wires. Solid Blue Wire, Brown Wire, and Yellow with Green Strip wire. Which wire is which?

fredskidoo Has anyone in the US been able to rewire the EU 3-wire plug for 220v (not 110v) use in US? if so, would you explain clearly and completely how you did it. If you haven't done this with this type of welder please don't answer - too much unhelpful commentary only confuses the situation. Thank you.
