BG221154312 TheJLB sits on an 1/8 buggy chassis ..Labeled 1/10 because its a truggy

Packaging was a little damaged on arrival however no damage to the vehicle, and what a awesome looking buggy this is! not to sure on durability yet as I haven’t had it long enough however looks very well made. It’s fairly small for a 1/10 scale (next to 1/10 Jlb Cheetah 21101) and the spur gear is plastic but only time will tell on how it lasts. I’ve seen metal gear upgrades available for this so shouldn’t be an issue anyway, easily the best looking vehicle I own so far and on 2S LiPo around 25mph & 3S LiPo around 37mph!

philthyco stock maverick esc is 60amp ..its a hobbywing 10bl60 rebranded..The v2 has an 80amp esc tho

bought it to replaced the 35amp ESC in Maverick. The power difference is visible when running with the same battery, power delivered is smooth and wheelie on demand even in 3S. Haven't try 4S on this ESC and maybe will never try it as I don't want to damage my Car or maybe the ESC it self 🤣. would recommend as 3S ESC.

philthyco these work great in 1/10 2wd rigs or light touring cars

So these motors are NOT 540 motors. they are more like a 28XX series motor and I bought 2 x at different KV ratings with 2x Escs and they both destroyed the ESCs on my WLToys 1/12 cars. The issue is there is not enough torque to ever reach the rpms. The motors get hot, so do the ESCs and the batteries, a bit disappointed. I swapped out to 3660 motor and a new ESC and WoW! Put some aftermarket wheels on your car and it will make the esc burn even faster.

So far in my ZDRacing DBX10 with a 3500KV 3660 motor and running great (I wish it would stop breaking drive shafts) but the esc is running fine. Thankyougood

slipper clutch is to tight I can't even loosen it say bye bye to differential gears but this truck is a beast I have packed it full of snow a few times electronics are fine I have jumped pretty far it takes a beating very fast and fun just wish the slipper clutch wasn't so tight I can't even get the nut to to turn to loosen some to save the differential gears I blew the rear out in two days and the truck is brand new come on makers no need to crank it down that tight

BG221154312 the diff needs two shims that's it..From what I gather the new models are now shimmed from the factory..I drive mine all the time with no issue and it's a new 2019 model

After my first 4 weeks of driving this car, the rear diff is broken and the car only functions in front wheel drive now. Very disappointed in this. It's worth keeping if your willing to spend another 200$ on spare parts. Spare parts are on there way including a new diff. I should also mention the diff housing is not water tight, and lots of gravel and dirt got stuck in the gears. Other than that, i love the design of this truck and the layout. (There are upgrade parts on amazon). Remote: 6/10 - (slide on top broke) Battery: 7/10 - (must waterproof) Tires: 10/10 - very nice and high quality ESC and motor: 9/10 - (combo is worth 130$) Gearing: 3/10 - (diff broke after 4 runs)

shipping was fast,and Arrived in good condition.I opened up one of the diff's,And they are pre-shimmed from the factory,Nice so no slop in the diff's.I would advise to grease the diff's as there is not enough in for the long term running.And then your good to go.Thank's BG for Excellent service.

This is a really fun truck. Order another set of regular tires/wheels and a battery alarm so you don't puff the battery.
