wp123 Yes, it's true, this flashlight has no low-voltage cut off. But the brightness decreases fast when the voltage drops under 3V so you can see it when the battery is low.

wp123 What kind of battery did you use? Alkaline, NiMH or Li-Ion? With NiMH battery you cannot get full power due to the low voltage of 1.2V. With Alkaline battery you will get a bit more power (1.5V) and full power with Li-Ion battery (3.6V) only.

The flashlight was well packed and came in rather quick. But once I have loaded it with one of my trusty Eneloops, once can see that this is nothing near 600lm. In fact you get a "gimmicky" light out of that and the color is very cold. I have another flashlight Sunwayman, and while being more expensive outputs full 1000lm. That is like a night and day when compared to this toy.
