Peter Yes, I'm using a 2S 1500 mAh Lipo and it fits perfectly.

Peter You can use the lipo without worries. I switch to lipos on my car always when they come with a 2 Cell Lilion battery. The 2200 mAh is just you can use it longer, like your fuel tank.

Peter Itshould fit, perhaps will it be a very tight fit, but you can still widen the heat sink.

Peter ThissMax is worth it. My 3 Years old son didn't break it, so I've many spare parts, because I thought the it's going to break very easy. Worth every dollar.
