imaginezark No, this is not normal. Know how anything that has to do with a speaker, when it is new you need to let it play at low volume while using it for at least 24 hours.

imaginezark Unfortunately this is another disadvantage. The sound when you open it and when you close it is quite loud. I tried everything I searched for everything. I even restarted the speaker but it did not change.
