D: CR2030 battery is hard to find. Can I use CR2032 instead? Or, is it possible to modify to use two 1.5V AA or AAA?

D: I purchased this kit from Amazon twice and it has the same fault as already described. When you turn on you don’t get the First character on the word COLOR, or any of the entries you can choose gives the same fault, if I press ON again the 1st character appears. Has anyone else had the same issue could be a pic chip issue?
