D: fit caddx tarsier v2?

Domandata da Wanflay il 2020-03-07 10:13:10

MRT Yes it does but it's a bit hard. You need to put the tarsiers boards in the centre stack and use a 10cm Tarsier coaxial cable (the cable connecting the cam to the boards). Maybe the 7cm cable works as well but I couldn't test it. Then you need a 20mm ESC in the centre or a 30mm ESC in the centre and a 30mm to 20mm "Flight Controller Conversion Board" . But when using an adapter board you have to make sure that the adapter board has m2 screws in the 20mm mounting (adapters from m3 to m2 are too tall). I used URUAV "V1 V2 V3 V4 Multi-function Flight Controller Conversion Board", V1, Model A. Stack height is very tight but works. Then you need a 20mm FC to put in the rear, 30mm FC in the rear fits but isn't well protected. Then VTX in the rear and RX either in the rear as well or in the front behind the camera. VTX, RX, and FC in the rear gets tight as well. Also, because the Tarsier has two lenses it isn't fully protected by the two side plates.

D: Does the kit come with any FC or esc mounting screws (hardware)?

Domandata da inventorJS il 2021-01-04 06:58:57

MRT Comes with four screws for the centre 30,5mm mounting stack. And 6 nylon nuts as well, but that's not enough for ESC and FC. I recommend buying at least some more nylon nuts. If you want to use 20mm M2 stack or both 30,5mm M3 stacks you need additional screws.

D: so binding it to a trashcan (eachine) shouldn't be a problem?

Domandata da BG932512522 il 2021-03-28 18:19:35

MRT Ithink Eachine Trashcan uses 5.8Ghz analogue FPV. So this should work no problem. Just select the same channel on the goggle and the VTX of the Quadcopter and it will work. Just make sure no other pilot in the area is using the same channel already.

D: Can I power this through a XT60, and if so how?

Domandata da faa1 il 2020-05-04 12:41:18

MRT You need a brushless ESC. I recommend one with at least 30A and blheli_S or blheli_32 but depending on what you want to use it for that might be overkill and a simpler ESC would work. And you need something that tells the ESC how fast it should spin the motor. Depending on what ESC and what purpose use PWM

MRT These motors can spin in both directions no problem. Use the ESC configuration or swap any two motor wires to the ESC to change direction. CW only applies to the screw that holds the prop in place. If you use a lock nut (nut with some plastic in to prevent slipping) you can use this motor in both directions without worrying about the prop getting loose in flight. If you feel uneasy just check the tightness of the prop nut before flight.

MRT It is silicone so it's not conductive and a an earthing point wouldn't make sense

D: Will this work on my Hang ghost 2.0 drone goggles it says it needs a 5.8 GB

Domandata da ray1967miller il 2019-04-08 11:46:18

MRT You probably mean 5.8Ghz not GB. In that case this will work
