The handling, speed envelope, efficiency, stability manners, lack of bad habits, price, strength and capability are all virtues of this aircraft, very unusual to have all of them with any one plane altogether. I use one for medium range fpv (<5km), and it handles wind and weather no problems, turning downwind into effectively a stall just gives wobbly rough warnings to speed up, and as long as CG is forward no death spins or unrecoverable situations. You get good ground effect making smooth landings easy, just push it down once into the last foot. I run a 2s Liion 2300kv 6x4.6 and get 45 minute flights with plenty of climbing up mountains and hills. It is very stable and dependable in varying conditions and not prone to catching you out. A few of mods I do, glue a CF pin into the canopy nose preventing blow off, magnets just don't cut it, and replace the glass fibre wing spar with 4mm CF, for a massive increase in strength. I also step the motor back 20mm with aluminium posts, making CG easier and reducing noise by about 75%.

Great little wing to grab for a quick flight. Simple build, parts fit together perfectly. Set up with a 2300kv drone motor, Gemfan 5x5.2 3 blade prop, HW 30amp esc, and 1400mah 2s lipo. Keep the tail-end light and it will balance at the CG markers under the wing without additional nose weight. Mine came in at 300g flying weight with a 1400mah 60c Hyperion graphene lipo battery. Draws 14 amps in this setup. The EPO foam can also handle quick dry spray paints from the local hardware store so you can do customise paint schemes!
