I found myself breaking needles more often using this pen. There's no way to adjust the length. Also, some needles are too wide and very difficult to fit in this; I had to force some of them in and it was a pain. I only got this cause I wanted to see if I like needle felting, so it was a good way to get into it without spending a whole load of money up front.
