This is probably the best one I have owned. I spend most all of my time on a desktop computer for my 9-5 and for my personal work. Ergonomics is a big part of my lifestyle to stay healthy long term. I also get cysts on my wrist from time to time, so a good wrist rest is the difference between a good and bad day. I purchased this in mint and it is easy on the eyes. It will fit into a white color themed desktop easily. i have a mint/ teal/ purple/ baby blue color scheme and the wrist rest blends right in as far as aesthetics. I'm extremely detailed (picky), so I will do a little modification - the logo is orange which doesn't match my set up, so i will either sand it off or pain over it. Now as far as hardware and functionality, this is where the 5 star rating comes in. First, The butterfly wing shape is comfortable for my wrists. My wrist size is 17 cm in diameter and its a perfect fit. Second, the cushion is firm. If you press into it with your finger tips it will compress to the bottom of the housing with minimum force. However, when pressure is evenly dispersed by my wrist I notice little to no compression, which means im getting a lot of support. Third, the housing is made of a hard plastic with a quality feel. The plastic is thick and rigid with smooth rounded edges topped with a coating of polish. There are no rough/ sharp edges or flimsy areas of the plastic housing. Lastly, at the base of the plastic housing there are two elongated rubber/ silicone feet that eliminate any kind of sliding around. This thing stays in place. Please keep in mind my review is based on first day of arrival. i used the wrist rest for about two hours before writing this review. I conduct minimum stress tests on new products and I predict I wont have any issues with this item. I dont stress test too much because I believe it increases the chances of breaking the item sooner that it is designed for. Also, i am very gentle with my belongings. Happy shopping you dorks.
