I think they are better as Kontronik because the hobbywing are working perfect with scorpion and oter motors and no problems.

I got one of those to replace the Align BL35G ESC in my TREX 450 PRO helicopter. Updated firmware to latest version and set it up to airplane mode since it's externally governed by the MSH BRAIN FBL. The only drawback I found is a slightly rough startup (even with the startup power parameter at its minimum value), which leads to a little (but noticeable) tail kick when the motor starts spinning. It's because of this that I rated it's quality as four stars instead of five (I would rate it 4,5 stars if I could). I think that this minor issue will be sooner or later addressed in a future firmware revision. On the other hand, after a four minutes hard 3D flying at 3100 RPM, the ESC comes down at almost the same temperature that it was when taking off. Touching it with my fingers I can barely feel if it's slightly warmer than before flying. Really amazing! As an added value, it's a tiny, lightweight ESC which can be easily accommodated in small size helis.
