A nice signal light. Very bright and fun to have. I always wanted to play around with one of these lights which are tied to a life saving jacket... The lamp requires 4 AA batteries. the description is misleading, there are no dry batteries inside or anything. You need to unscrew the transparent part and gently pry and pull out the led unit. Then put in the batteries like it is marked in the lamp. Put the whole thing back together and switch it on with the small red button underneath. I put 4 eneloops in and it is very bright and flashing with around 1Hz.
