The whole thing is ready to be used ... almost ... The tip has to be screwed in, and the power supply only has an US plug and only works there or in countries with compatible systems. Fortunately the power supply is capable of up to 240V AC supplies. The cable is mounted fix, so there is the need to use an dadapter or change the plug. When powering on it takes a few seconds until the the air gets ionized and the corona discharge around the tip starts. But as soon as a sound source (or other audio frequency AC signal) is applied the discharge gets much more impressive and you also can hear the sound in the sparks. But this by no means is no plasma tweeter as used in some highest end hifi equipment. But that sould be clear from the very beginning ... It is a nice demonstrator of the principle nevertheless and nice to look at. Continuus operation is not suggested from my side for two reasons ... When powering it with quite some signal, the heat sink gets quite warm .. and second and more important ... The ozone created by the corona discharge is quite intense and not very healthy. But this is not specific to this device but a general Tesla / high voltage / discharge topic ... You can't beat physics and chemistry :)

Good quality product. Purchased 3 but only one is operation now. I figured out that the top IC is damaged on both. Unfortunately the top of the IC is sanded down. I will appreciate if anybody can help me with this to make the run again. Thanks in advance.

Opere, ma le lampade ad incandescenza non si illuminano a differenza di quelle fatte in casa, forse se questa riprogettazione sarà e lama alla luce, in generale mi piace.

работает, но лампы накаливания не зажигает в отличие от самодельных, возможно если эту переделать будет и ламы накаливания зажигать, в целом мне нравится.

Arrived Quite quick, and was well packaged,,, I had to replace the 2 pronged plug to a UK 3 pin one but was no hassle to me,,,, as you can see from pictures work like a charm lovely blue n purple arcs about 10cm long, also comes with a 2 armed piece that spins while emitting arcs ,,, haven't tried music through it, that side of it doesn't interest me, all in all im very happy with it :-)
