It is my 5th Astrolux A01. I like the quality. I dont use the aaa.batteries but 10440 3.6V batteries. The flashlight in macimal moment can have even 60°C. But then there is end of energy in 10440 battety. But for 15 minutes I have about 500 lumens flashlight which is the size of finger. Really, don't fear to try 10440 - you will be shocked!

Macka17 IHave 4 or 5. I Use Li-PO4 cells now. 3.2v over 3.5v. Less chance of burning out the led.
and give away to kids with AAA cells in there.
My very first one burned out beam levels after several yrs on 10440 Li-Ion usage.
Still has full cycle but Medium beam only.
I have over a dozen AAA torches. These and my Olight i3T copper Are my favourites.
