The LED strip got a little banged up in shipment, but it still works. Nice bright colors.

Awesome surprise when i turned it on, I realized it has an RF remote and not IR. I'm not sure if it isn't mentioned in the descriprion or I missed it somehow, but i'm glad it's RF. You don't need direct line of sight to control it. It has like 50 differents animations too (I haven't counted but it felt like forever to get through all of them). Initially ordered it to cut it into pieces and use it in some projects but now I think i'm going to use it as is. Also, if you turnit off and back on, it starts with the animation you used it before, so that's a plus too. As for power consumption, it barely hits 0.2A with the animations, and 1.5A with all LEDs on and set to full white.

Very nice and small, bought one to see how it is, I will definately get more of these whenever I need a small micro controller.

Albert it's IR, unfortunately! And it doesn't have a very long range, in my case you have to be within 50cm from the bulb. If you have multiple bulbs chances are you can't control them all at once.

To be honest, I haven't read the description of this item carefuly so I haven't realized they were 2cm wide, so I was a bit sureprized how big they were when I got them. But they look good. Initially I thought the print on the button was reversed (0/I => I/0), but after a quick test it tourned out to be OK. So, I would definately recommend them If you needed 2cm wide On/Off switches.

It's just wires with JST connectors, I got them, it's what I ordered I guess, So yeah there's your 5 star rating for this item.
