I am not a fan of tacticals, but this is a great, simple and powerful flashlight. The tailswitch clicks manly to on/off, but very sensitive, almost like touch button to select the 3 (+strobe) modes. Low-med-high, there is memory! When turned on, double soft touch to get strobe. Safely packaged, with spare o-ring and lanyard. The lanyard ring spins around the body, not fixed. Way better quality than xanes or other nonames. Like Convoy quality. Anodyzing is made qualitively, feels great to the touch. The size is very compact. Works with also 18650s but need to fill the side space to not rattle. I like the 4000K yellowish tint, pleasant next to these today's cheap 6500K's. Very recommended those who seeking a compact 21700. There is no built in charger, so waterproofing should work, as in description, but I don't wanna try. Rain not problem sure! This size great to go on bike handlebars with a suitable holder and no problem when you ride in the dark! 😊

D: will a protected 21700 work with this flashlight? the protected 21700 is longer than the unprotected.

Peter666aa First I tried with 18650, but then the brand new not protected 21700 put in, started to behave strange. Always turned on, not were able to turn off, then the modes not were able to select, put back the 18650, worked again normally. Tried another 21700, again abnormal working. Then needed to loosen the head, and positioning the thread not so loose to fall of, but hold still to normal work. So now I can not change my review, but the not protected 21700 has problem in it, so the protected sure not suitable...

And also feels premium I got already Mode 2 so no need to adjust the gimbal and the center surface is matte not shiny as I saw on the older models. Not tried yet hope everything will work good. FCC version. This is my first hobby grade trnsmitter my bugs 3's is very toygrade.

other components has not arrived yet to my 5" build so can not tested it yet but looks good and cells are well balanced. Hope will fly a lot with these batteries.
