the set was good and it had power. the radio is absolute garbage and so is the servo it's super in-accurate the esc and the motor worked fine it's a little laggy because it's a sensorless system but it's less laggy on 3s. i tried to run the esc on 4s got a couple good revs from the motor and the esc fried, i guess? it beebs and shows no light idk what happened but the internals look fine to me. but it was never meant to be run on 4s so i cant complain i should give it credit fir doing 4s for the time it did. also the batteries were REALLY good meant for race cars so that could've effected it aswell

BG545593511 mine fried on 4s

Recommended ! Ordered the full kit and did upgrade my wltoys 144001 whit the motor, ESC and steering servo. And it fits perfectly. Still using the 2S 1500Ma lipo however the ESC can handle 120Amps and 2-4S lipo's . Currently the max speed is as leas as stock motor. Just ordered the wltoys Program Card , this was not visibel at this upgrade kit product page... Also the transmitter in this kit does its job OK . FPV has been added before , using second stock lipo. Thanks Banggood !

it's a good car. drivetrain is very unsmooth otb but the radio system is better than in the k9 lineup

the order arrived, unfortunately the transmitter was cracked and the servo was not working. Unfortunately, I couldn't write to support.

D: Has anyone tried using a 3s lipo with this setup? And will it be safe to do so?

BG545593511 yes it says you can use a 2-4s lipo battery but i wouldn't go more than 3s because ive heard it can fry the esc on 4s easily

it's a nice little buggy and has plenty of power... although left me craving for more. i have not had many issues with this car but a few small ones: -diffs needed grease -shocks underfilled -tire came unglued after a few track laps -the cassis punctured both batteries (not to a unusable state) -charging takes ~3.5h -the upper suspension link comes off alot on the front if you bash it -esc kinda bailed on me after running it in snow (servo goes nuts when the car is turned on or atleast when the radio is paired to the car -they use some kind of glue on nearly all screws screwed into metal especially the pinion grub screw and the motor mount screws, if you want to remove these use ALOT of heat either use a torch or a powerful soldering iron and a well fitting screwdriver otherwise youl'l round up a screwhead or if you have a good fitting screwdriver youll brake the screw head off -speed is not as advertised istead of the advertised 60kmh it goes aproximately 45-50kmh on a warm day (+20 – +25°c) and in like -15°c it goes like 35kmh max. -the esc gets worriably hot running in the optimal temperatures like i ran it for like 5 minutes inside and the esc was too hot to touch not talking about me running it on the track for over an hour i didn't even dare to touch it although feeling on the side of the plastic case there is a temperature it will not go past of wich is good. -the tires are kinda bad, as they had little to none grip on the track as i noticed it when i drove a arrma senton there wich had waay more grip so id get new tires if you wanted to race this buggy now that we adressed some of the bad stuff lets get on with the good things -it's fast and really snappy on both steering and throttle -very good shocks and suspension (after filling the shicks properly) -drivetrain is very quiet comparing to some cars -easy to work on and easy to put back together -the car is very very robust exept for a few things like the suspension links and the rear wing

BG545593511 yes you probably have to buy a new wheel hexe's (a 17mm one's if i remember correctly as the car comes with 12mm hexe's)
