lyntonsaunders Thecameras require a 48v supply, 802.3af supports between 44-57v so it should work, I have not tested it directly myself though.

Be very careful about which direction you use to cut with these, they work very well but can get away from you and cause serious harm if you dont know what you are doing.

The unit works fine, it would be a lot better if it had native PoE functionality but its ok for what it does.
