I have tested the lab power supply at 42V - 2A and 12V - 10A. The over current and over voltage protections work as expected. When using the computer interface the device can be used as a low frequency, high power waveform generator. I do not like the battery charger output (green plug), I would rather have had a ground/earth plug.

The voltage, current and power ratings work as advertised. The voltage can be tuned using the small potentiometer. The circuit board, case and earth pin are properly grounded/earthed. WARNING!: When used in combination with the RD6000 series lab power supplies, follow the manual and don't set the voltage to high when tuning with the potentiometer.

Darksidderz The Wowstick has one button, that you can press forward or backward. If you press forward, it rotates clockwise. If you press backward, it rotates counter clockwise.

The plate heats up fairly quickly. The controller uses a switch to turn the heating element on and off. The front panel has an adjustment potentiometer that is slightly off-center but does what it needs to do. Because of the big thermal mass of the heating plate, it will take about 25-30 min. to cool down from 280C to 30C. Before using the device I would advise you to open the device and check the ground connections, you may need to sand some of the paint off from underneath the connectors.

The device works as advertised. I had some problems getting the device working on Windows. This was easily fixed by using the device drivers provided by the seller. On Windows the device works with the latest version of the original Saleae Logic Analyser software.
