Its NOT 18650 as described. Its got a built in rechargeable 3x AAA pack of unknown branding or quality. The AAA pack can be removed, but not easily replaced - there are the usual 3 slots in a battery holder for the AAA's , but the holder does not have contact points (as the pack has been hardwired into the lamp). so you could not simply insert your own choice of AAAs, you'd have to make up a pack and take it to bits to get to the connection point, which would be more hassle than its worth for this type of light. lumens on the pack claims 40 for the torch, 100 for the COB which seems about right. the torch is quite usable - most of the light is in a hotspot thats about 8-10 degrees wide, with a much dimmer light field out to about 90 degrees. so the hotspot makes it ok for "finding something" inside at 2-5 metre range. outside, the spot would be ok to find your footing on a path , but the flood part would just disappear. wouldn't want to use it for much more than that. The COB area light and that fact that it will tail stand helps with its versatility to flood an area, but remember its only 100lumen, so still only good for short range. very light - 80g - as its not got much battery metal in it and the whole light is plastic. but a bit big for pocket EDC. its an adequate spare to leave in the car or similar , or to have around the house for inside use. you could also perhaps improvise something with the screwed on pocket clip to fix it in other ways. not tested run time, the claim on the pack is 3 hrs.
