Good quality product. The packaging was poor, and could have caused them to have been bent, possibly making them useless. But these were absolrtely fine.

Great module, personally, without changing to a bigger heatsink, or a fan, I would restrict it to maybe 1kW.

This one is not for first time kit builders. You do need to be able to read circuit diagrams. Two components shown on the pcb are not on the circuit diagram. One of the components in the components list doesn't show on the circuit diagram, or on the PCB. However after a bit of a struggle it worked fine.

Excellent quality on the whole, but a few minor issues. The PCB is one of the best quality, I particularly liked the clear screen printing, and islands are of an appropriate size and spacing making soldering very easy. The markings on the ceramic capacitors were unclear (smudged) in a couple of cases, and C1 which was correctly labelled 104 (100nF) actually read very low at 52nF, in its particular location, as a power smoothing capacitor, in the circuit this would not be a significant issue. Sadly the 51ohm resistor in the photograph on the site was missing which means I haven't been able to test the finished kit at the moment, but see no problems in that regard. An issue for some people might be the choice of crystal frequency, it falls outside of the novice allocation in the USA. 7.030MHz might be more appropriate, as it is thin that allocation and is also a centre of activity for QRP.
