D: Is the very simple 5V -> 3,3V logic level conversion design for ESP-RX/ESP-TX signals really safe? Especially the TX seems unsafe since current will be flowing in the reverse direction when TX high. What about the low-power modes?

GMMAnonymus I have used this board with ESP-Link, (which makes it work as a transparent telnet bridge) to send commands or data to Mega through WiFi and vice versa (Mega sending a response to ESP) with no problems over 1 year of usage. I'm assuming it is safe.

Nice product with high quality. Excellent instructions. The only minor problem was to solder the large BNC connector pins to the board (the tin does not easily flow out to make a good soldering connection). It would also be a good idea to indicate the tolerance of the 0 V measurements in step 5. "0 V" means within a couple of mV, but what is the expected limit?
