ellulbrian AMP stands for amplifier so i presume to connect an external amplifier if you have otherwise leave it not connected

ellulbrian you need an Arduino UNO borad or a compatible board. Regarding software, you need Arduino IDE which can be downloaded for free from the official site.

ellulbrian it has two USB ports coming from two wires attached to the rear of the headunit. If the dongle is compatible with Android 8 Go, then it should be compatible with this headunit.

ellulbrian you have to set the ILL wire to 12V. it should be connected to the car's illumination wire. If the car doesn't have an illumination wire, you have to connect the ILL wire with the red wire from the harness and the backlight will come on when the headunit is on.

ellulbrian Yes, you will have google Play store pre-installed and Kodi 18.5 is compatible with the device.
