Generally good but it has struggled to perform in lockdown with daily video calls. Pro: Good battery life. I can flatten the battery in less than a day with hard gaming but generally it's what I need. Physical case. The case is strong & scratch resistant. After over a month it is unmarked. I like the way that the corners stand slightly proud of the screen so it sits face down without scratching the screen. It is held together by Torx screws rather than glue 👍. Gaming performance is really good. Loading quickly, running smoothly, plenty of room for lots of games 👍. The main camera is good. Good quality pictures, the X2 zoom is quick & effective. The face cute filter is ok. I enjoy the bokeh setting though sometimes it just looks like an oval clear letterbox in a blur filter. Anti: The microphone is on the back of the case so I sound muffled. I can work around this by going to speakerphone & talking to the back. Worse it goes distorted & unlistenable. I've had to hang up & redial to reset the audio. I have resorted to earpods and a USB C headphone. The selfie camera shows small corruption/glitches on video, particularly on video conferencing. I've seen this on several apps (Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom). It doesn't show on stills & it's not unusable but it's not great. Before lockdown it would have been mildly irritating but in lockdown with daily video conferences the selfie camera and microphone have been quite noticeable. It kills all processes in the background. It's part of Android but Doogee's implementation defaults to switch everything off in the background quickly. Alerts and reminders I expect routinely turn up on my old phone but not on this phone. I got frustrated bug the following helps: Settings > Apps & Notifications > Advanced > Special App Access > Battery Optimisation > All Apps > Select each App in turn & switch off optimisation. Note: It has an FM radio receiver but no 3.5mm jack. The radio does work with USB C headphones but they are rare.
