The bumper looks very nice on the car and I believe it can also help for the front crashes. The only problem is that they do not include the four M3x16 screws to mount it properly. You can see in the last photo that I have used four silver screws that I bought from my local hardware store.

Johnnie_M@BG201078463 I had a pair of crimper for many different numbers but because I couldn't do it good enough I used a pair of flush cutters and did it very slowly so I only bend the small jst connectors on the wire.

This is a very nice product in general. But I wanted to have more control on the discharging volts or have something like a refresh discharge which will be changing-discharging the battery 3 times... When the fan kicks in it sounds like a mini jet engine. This is happening when you discharge the battery mostly because it needs to cool down the resistors. If they had done what the ToolkitRC M8 does it would discharge the battery way faster (the discharging current goes back to the input battery if there is a battery of course). The ToolkitRC also gives the option to check the balance of the battery without putting power on the input, this would be a good idea if it can be done with a firmware update. You "can" check the balance of a battery on the field by connecting the balance wires normally and the main leads of the battery to the input of the battery like in the second photo (if the wires are long enough) or connect a usb powerbank to usb port, you cannot do anything except monitor the balance but you can do it.

To be fair, I got the car but I haven't got to use it outside yet (fuck you coronavirus). I tried to use it on my veranda but, hell, it is too fast to test anything. I changed the connector of the battery from T-plug to xt60 so I can use my own charger. With the T-plug I desoldered from the battery I made an xt60 adapter. Because I wanted to use my own charger I had to "merge" the two 2s batteries balancing wires. You have to use a 5 wire jst connector and put the cables like the 6th photo (you don't use the one wire from the series connector). Remember to tighten ALL the screws and use Threadlocker. One of the screws that I checked was one that locks a metal bar in the front suspension (last two photos), I tried to tighten it down but it was stuck and now I cannot tight or untight it because it is destroyed... I don't know if it is going to be a problem when I make jumps, I will try to find a spare part.

It is a very nice addon because it tumbles easily from the too much torque (4s battery). By the way it also looks very good! The wheels have ball bearings.

Johnnie_M Yes I use a 19v laptop power brick and it goes from 30°c to 450°c in 14 seconds!!!

Johnnie_M If you want full 500 watts output you need a PSU (power supply unit) that is 20% more from what you need, so something around 600 watts at 24 volts.

Johnnie_M It is the same thing with only difference the tip, this one has the TS-I Solder Tip which is more pointy than the TS-B2
