stuntdoogie does the motor respond when put the 2s battery or did the 3s completely kill the motor?

it works well but now I need a new esc my RC car servo and battery still connects and turning is not a problem but now my motor does not respond

nice battery had a good storage charge for shipping and is perfect fit for hbx 16889 and sg 1/16th scale truck and truggy will definitely order more
