thrusty33 @fredskidoo EU 220V is single phase. It's the same thing with US 110V, it's just the voltage that is different. US 220V is 3 phase afaik, you can't hook up a single phase machine to a 3 phase power source, it's just not possible. You need a voltage up transformer powerful enough to power the machine. For example, if this is 3kW 220V single phase, you need a minimum 3kVA 110V to 220V transformer to power it. Best to look for something like 5kVA and look for its continous rating, they usually give out the peak power output in the advertisment, the continuos rating is much lower.
