A very nice looking and well made engine. The one I received has a black base instead of the typical silver and I have to say the black base looks so much better. The one thing that let the delivery down is the low quality packaging. engine had a small sheet of bubble wrap around it, but was free to bounce around inside the cardboard box. Not ideal for a precision model like this and unfortunately the beam post on my engine arrived knocked out of alignment and the engine wouldn't turn freely until

Beautifully made model - just had to adjust position of pillar as out of line - probably during shake-up in postage. Runs perfectly and looks amazing. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this engine and it should arrive within a week. I have been collection Sterling engines for over 40 years. This model looks very well built and nicely machined. From the online picture it has ball bearings on the crankshaft for long life and has some nice multi-color metal and paint accents that attracted me to this engine. Can't wait to hear this little engine run. I could not able to select any rating stars for some reason, (maybe because the motor is still in transit). I will rate it

Goods arrived within the timeframe, worked straight out of the box, very,very happy. My only issue is the packing, the box was a bit rough on the outside, goods were ok which is the main thing, highly recommended.
