This looks like a great driver for my 3Amp NEMA23 motors. Appears to be able to work in both common cathode and common anode configuration - just make sure you connect it properly. I had to look up additional documentation to make sure I had the connections right. The driver has optocouplers for inputs so your controller must source about 20mA per pin, to turn the optocouplers on. In common cathode mode (GND connected to EN-, DIR- and PULSE- and EN+, DIR+ and PULSE+ to their respective control pins), I managed to control it directly from an Arduino Uno with GRBL 0.9 and an Arduino CNC shield v3.0.
