The motor takes 5 stars, powerful, nicely finished, with soldered bullet connectors. The ESC on the other hand, is average in my opinion, thus it receives only 3 stars. First of all, the on/off switch is too small and it does not include a reset button. Therefore it requires a programming card, which has too few parameters to change. I would recommend to develop a USB programming interface, so that it can be programmed by PC. Moreover, the cooling fan is soldered directly to the PCB, hence it is not possible to remove it, without desoldering. Finally, the power connector is a cheap deans clone, which in my opinion, it should be replaced asap. In the verdict, the combo is nice, fairly priced, and nicely packed.
