Works well but it could have been so much better: 1) Temperature setting is only saved while the unit is plugged in, unfortunately it automatically resets to 30 degrees C when moved to another location (or is switched using a smart socket!) 2) Fan runs continually at set speed even when required temperature is reached, it then blows cold air until the heater cuts in again. Would have been much better if the fan only came on when the element was warm/hot or slowed right down when not needed. 3) Temperature display and manual switches rotate with unit, so they are upside down when heater unit is rotated above the socket. 4) Fan is quite noisy (especially on high speed) and its speed cannot be changed pressing both temperature setting buttons simultaneously (as stated in the instructions) so you have to use the remote to switch the fan speed from high to low. 5) Remote control would have been much better if it was Radio Frequency instead of infrared . I have to pick it up instead of simply pressing the required buttons like I usually do with my other RF remote.
