Arrived safe and sound. First impressions were luke warm as the board look tatty, but it was just unwashed flux. There is a handy arrow ti assist you in getting the ESP01s plugged in the right way around, and be careful it is very easy to get wrong. To use it as a programer for the Arduino IDE, all you need to do is add a simple switch between IO0 and GND to get it in to flash mode. Simple.

I plan to use this adapter for ESP 8266 - 01. It looks OK, but there are missing any instructions. I have found driver on internet, so the driver in my PC is OK. Adapter itself could be OK, there is 5V to 3.3V conversion, but I was not able to upload software to ESP 01 board. Missing switch GPIO0 to GND (for software upload). My ESP01 module was not S type, so maybe this was a problem.
