The tape measure came with a fully discharged battery..I sampled during the day in the light and in the dark at night.The results are the same.The maximum distance that the tape measure can read is 50 meters, not the stated 80 measures.Also, the speech is only in Chinese, and I don't understand it.I need a tape measure up to 80 meters and I paid a higher price for that ..
