I've order this part for a project, where I don't want to have to much interferences from a normal daylight. About this on an IR receiver ( without a bandpass) is not the best solution. This nice receiver works great in combination with a laserdiode http://www.banggood.com/de/3-Pcs-DC-5V-5mW-650nm-6mm-Laser-Dot-Diode-Module-Red-Copper-Head-Tube-p-1030043.html Both - laser and receiver work fine with 5V and the out signal state can be used without any add HW e.g. with an arduino board. The only open question is: How much is the max current from the singnal - Output ( P-dead? ) @Banggood : if it is possible, please add this information into the description. Thanks a lot

Very good item and great value for money ratio. Note that the sensor must be inserted with flat side facing away from the V/GND/S pins (or down as seen in the picture) and the semi-sphere protrusion facing these pins (or up as seen in the picture).

The only problem I can mention before testing is that by ordering transmitter and receiver they send them separately and you have an unpleasant gap with no testing or so something that has to be changed. They should have them in the same warehouse.

I like this product a lot and I am going to test it next week. It comes well packaged (in fact I coulnt find it at first inside the bag). It takes a lot of time to arrive, but maybe it is associates with the big amount of packages in this season (chritsmas)
