It is a very powerful development kit because it allows you to assemble your solution with all the elements already installed. The liion battery holder is a plus. The included sketch is in scan mode of nearby wifi networks. The revision of the board received is 3.0 and the circuit diagram can be downloaded from http://myosuploads3.banggood.com/products/20190830/20190830005003t18v3.pdf. The red LED indicates power to the board, the green network warns when the battery is charged. The battery charging current is 875mA. The TPA5400 DC/DC converter reaches a temperature of 49ºC when it is charging the liion battery, but it is within limits. The consumption of the circuit charging the battery (discharged) and the active wifi part is 1.2 Amp. Of all the modules that I have bought for development with ESP32 this seems to me the option with more advantage to have accessible JTAG as well. In short, a very good option for development with PlatformIO or ArduinoIDE.
