Awesome light to use in a closet or under the kitchen cabinet. Proximity Sensor is decent and will turn on when mounted under the kitchen cabinet and when I walk close to the light. You don;t have to wave your arms for it to activate, it already picks up the motion as you get close to it. There are 2 modes, motion and when dark it will activate, or just motion. Using just motion, it is not as sensitive, you need to be about 1-2 feet away. On motion plus dark, it will only activate when the room is dark, and it will pick up motion at about 4-5 feet away and turn on.
