Despite no schematics nor instructions of the current version of the product (blue PCB), easy to assemble (PCB markings clear for R's and C's), as long as you know what a crystal looks like, and that RM stands for thermistor and QM for LDR. However, a few shortcomings: - cage slot for thermistor not wide enough, so I had to mount the thermistor vertically so that it still sticks out (no use in measuring the temperature of the inside of the box :) - sometimes some segments of the displays flicker slightly when dimmed - the top button (to set date, time...) only works one press at a time; if one holds the button the display dims and nothing happens (instead of continuously counting up) - the backup battery does not hold the settings when power off (battery voltage and polarity triple checked, are OK) Will work on the last issue somewhat, will post an update if I find anything. All in all, fun little project for a few bucks; who can complain?
